Evelyn R. Garberson, 92, of Catawba Is- land died Friday, Nov. 23 at The Chalet at Ohio Living Vineyard on Catawba Assisted Living. She was born Dec. 6, 1925 in Toledo, the daughter of Stephen and Verna (Bykowski) Jarczynski. Garberson retired from the Catawba Island Club where she worked in the kitchen and she previously was a waitress at the Ramada Inn in Fremont. Surviving are her daughter: Sheila (Mike) Schneider of Castalia; and grandchildren: Michelle Schneider and Eric Schneider.
