June C. Gahris, 83, of Lake- side-Marblehead passed peacefully into the loving arms of God on Saturday, Sept. 15, at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky. She was born on May 3,1935 in Ocala, Fla., the daughter of Harmon L. Cole and Jessie (White) Cole. She married Thomas L. Gahris on June 10, 1957, and they remained life-long sweethearts and partners, modeling for almost 60 years what true love and devotion looks like.
