Blanche Goney, 90, of Genoa, died Monday, Dec. 11, at Parkcliffe Community at Northwood. She was born Sept. 16, 1927, in Brownsville, Pa., to Joseph and Elizabeth (Palkovich) Gibson. Her husband, Sherman R. Goney, died Oct. 31, 1981. Blanche had worked at Burndy Electronics, Jobst Industry and Hirzels Canning, retiring in 2004. She is survived by son Sherman Goney (Diane).
