Caroline Frances (Rohde) Burr, 90, of Port Clinton, at the home of her daughter, peacefully slipped into God’s waiting arms on August 25, 2017, holding the hands of both of her daughters. She was born on January 31, 1927, in Gypsum, Ohio to William and Geraldine (Miller) Rohde. Caroline attended school in Gypsum for grades 1-9, transferring to Port Clinton High School in 10 th grade and graduating with the class of 1945. On June 7, 1947, she married Chester Burr (deceased).
