John S. Danchisen, 97, died unexpectedly at his home on January 18. John was born January 6, 1920 in Marblehead. Visitation was held at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead on Friday, January 20.
Additional visitation was held on Saturday, January 21, at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, 506 E. Main Street, Marblehead. The Office of Christian Burial followed with Father Robert Kelly officiating, and Helen Jean Cooley as cantor. Burial followed at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Marblehead.
